MaryHOUGHTONIt is with great sadness that the family of Mary Houghton announces her passing on 14th November 2024, Aged 92. Mary passed away suddenly but peacefully in Southport Hospital and will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Mary was born in Pollagh, Achill Island, Eire. She came to England at an early age and started her profession to care for people, which she continued to do until her passing. Mary married the late Albert and went on to have 2 sons Joseph (Deceased) and Albie and was a much loved wife, mother, mother-in-law, nan and great nan.
Those we love don't go away they walk beside us everyday unseen, unheard, but always near still loved, still missed and very dear.
Funeral service will be held at St Marie's Church, Southport on 5th December 2024 at 12.00 then onto Southport Crematorium.
